Today's Lankadeepa newspaper has reported that a senior SLFPer who secured over 1 lakh

Preferential Votes at the General Election this time is to join the UNP.

As reported, this senior SLFPer had forwarded his suggestion to UNP chairman, Malik Samarawickrema and also to Prime Minister Ranil and the latter's decision would be notified tomorrow.
