Sajin Vass denied bail by Magistrate 

Former Minister Sajin Vass Gunawardena whom was remanded for the offence of misusing 22 vehicles belonging to the presidential

secretariat.His case was called today again. His lawyers had requested the Magistrate to allow him bail in order for him to take treatment for an ailment he was carrying. But the bail application made was denied.

When the suspects along with Sajin Vass Gunawardena were produced the officials of the police crimes investigation division had conveyed that the suspect had paid an instalment of rupees sixty lakhs to the presidential secretariat on behalf of the vehicles used.

Sajin Vass Gunawardena and other suspects were further remanded until the 17th of this month when the case is to be heard again.
