US Secretary of America John Kerry to the island (photos) ....
2 ships for security, 50 dogs
US Secretary of State, Mr. John Kerry arrived in Sri Lanka this morning at approximately 8.10 on an American flight for an official visit.
Two ships had arrived in the island backed by officers for his security, relevant equipment and in addition 50 dogs. Foreign Minister Mangala Samaraweera was present at the moment he set foot in Sri Lanka. Already the President, the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister has had discussions with him.
Expressing his ideas, he had remarked that approving the 19th constitutional amendment and the steps taken to bring peace to the country have won the admiration of America. Mr. Kerry said that he is happy about Sri Lanka coming forward at the beginning itself to help Nepal. He also said that America is always ready to grant support to plan the future of Sri Lanka and that it is a matter of joy that the President of this country and the Prime Minister take decisions without fear.
