Sri Lankan Engineer abducted in Nigeria freed

The Sri Lanka Engineer D.A.Karunadasa who

was abducted by a gang of abductors seeking rupees 50 billion ransom has been freed in Nigeria last night at 9.30 p.m.

This news had been conveyed by the officials of the Sri Lankan embassy in Nigeria.It has been revealed that he had under been hidden in a jungle. It is reported that the authorities of the Italian Company under whom he was employed by had taken a keen interest and effort for his release.

However there is no information in regard to the ransom that was demanded by the abductors.
