Keheliya had attempted to join UNP thrice but denied

The former Minister of Mass media and information Keheliya Rambukwella would not be accepted and accommodated in

United National Party was quipped by the general secretary of the party Kabeer Hashim.In this connection he had conveyed via a notice.

He had also confirmed that the former minister Keheliya Rambukwella in his usual proud manner had denied that he wanted to join the United National Party. In contrary the general secretary had also added that the former minister Keheliya Rambukwella had approached the party thrice in this regard but his entry had been totally rejected by the party officials.

The general secretary had also confirmed that on two occasions after the presidential election he had come to Temple Trees and requested him to be taken to the UNP. This was also stated in the notice issued.
