At Nalanda College Colombo 375 students had sat the GCE (ordinary level) out of which 78 had

obtained all 9 A’s while 67 had secured 8 A’s and all students had qualified to study in Advanced level.

In Ananda 522 students had sat the GCE (ordinary level), 161 had secured 9 A’s while 94 had secured 8 A’s it is reported.

At Royal 607 had sat for the examination out of them 163 secured 9 A’s and 93 had secured 8 A’s.

At Thurstan College, Colombo 236 students had sat the examination 35 had secured 9 A’s and 23 had secured 8 A’s.

At Visakha Vidyalaya, Colombo 368 students had sat the examination 202 students had secured all 9 A’s while 48 had secured 8 A’s.

At Ratnawali Balika Vidyalaya ,Gampaha 290 students had sat the examination 142 had secured 9 A’s and 67 students had secured 8 A’s at the examination.
