Acute domestic gas shortage reported

It is reported that from 8-9 April in several areas in

the country, there had been an acute shortage of domestic gas cylinders. As a result a lot of people who depend on domestic gas for cooking purposes have been terribly inconvenienced during the festive season.

The wholesale dealers have complained that although they had ordered stocks of gas to replenish exhausted stocks they have not received them. It is also reported that those institutions who supply cooked food too have been inconvenienced.
