Everything ready for Nugegoda meeting
Even if Freedom Party doesn't come .... blue flags flutter (video)
By this time everything is ready for the 'Mahinda agamethi kireeme reliya' which is scheduled to
be held this evening at Nugegoda.
This meeting which is to be held with Wimal, Vasu, Dinesh and Gammanpillai of United Front Freedom Alliance taking prominence is expected to be held at the Nugegoda Super Market Complex premises at the Ananda Samarakoon Outdoor Theatre. It has been decorated in blue, yellow and red colours. On a background where the General Secretary of the Freedom Party had not notified his Party about this rally and has been informed not to participate in it, the decoration has been carried out with flags of blue colours; the colours of that Party. Two stages have been setup for special guests to take their seats close to the main stage. All over Nugegoda city there are decorations of flags and already police protection has been provided in this connection.
Political sources had informed that the Ex-President would not be attending this meeting and the rally is expected to commence at 3 this afternoon.
