Para-Olympic champion who killed lover by mistake .... to jail!

Disabled Olympic champion Oscar Pistorius who created pandemonium in the recent past for having murdered his lover by mistake was considered guilty because of a neglectful Appeal which came up for hearing and he was thus sentenced to a 5 year jail sentence.

South African athlete Para-Olympic Gold Medalist Oscar Pistorius was confirmed as being guilty of having made use of a firearm in a wrong manner and for committing a murder by negligence according to the testimony presented to courts.

The case came up for hearing in Pretoria Courts.

It was mentioned in that instance that Oscar Pistorius was confirmed as having not murdered his lover Reeva Stincamp by shooting her down according to evidence provided in courts.

Whatever it is, he was subjected to a jail term of 5 years for having been neglectful in using firearms.

Oscar Pistorius was born in 1986 and was a short-distance runner. It was learned that he has had both his legs amputated below his knees when he was just 11 months old.

He became a Para-Olympic champion because of his capabilities; but sometime back there were criticisms too aimed at him that he had misused his artificial limbs.

Pistorius became the first amputated competitor to clinch the World Swift Medal at the International Athletic Championships in 2011.

Oscar Pistorius had been in conversation with his lover with a weapon in his hands when the gun triggered off and his lover lost her life as a consequence.

Though it was proved in courts that he is not guilty of homicide, this finale which changed Oscar's life is indeed something pathetic that brings a great shock.
