I never met Ramzy Rahman - Minister Wimal

Talk that I'm spending lakhs on my hair is all bunkum .....
 I have not even seen Ramzi Rahman

There was a rumour sometime ago that Minister Wimal Weerawansa was someone who spends a large sum of money on doing up his hair. Though the rumour spread that he spends so much money on his hair, fingernails and his appearance, he gave an
interview for a weekend newspaper recently and said that all that talk is false. Quoting the name of popular beautician Ramzy Rahman he says that he has not even seen that person.

This then is the interview:
*Can you live with the salary you earn as a Minister?
 Those who think that the money is not enough ... depends on the style of life one leads. According to my own life style of living of course ... the salary I earn is not enough to live. But I manage.

*How is that? It is said that you spend a fortune on your hair, fingernails and face ... is it true?
 Who says those things? Anybody can come and see whether I do anything special to my hair. Those are political allegations. When they can't attack us... they find things like that and attack us that way. At one time they said that I have my hair cut at Ramzy Rahman. I haven't even seen him for real. So they say various things. It's a characteristic of politics. I bear these things with indifference.
