Vishwa - Erandi love story

met Vishwa at Nugegoda

Popular actor Vishwa Kodikkara entered into marriage recently and it was with Erandi Halkavidana. Vishwa's father is a well-known film producer and director, Padmasiri Kodikkara. Erandi's father is a businessman. Erandi who was brought up mostly in Australia returned to Sri Lanka just 8 months ago. During this period she meets her destined marriage partner and now the wedding between the two has already taken place. This is how Erandi describes how this strange meeting between the two took place:
            "My father is a businessman and mother is a housewife. I am the only child in the family. I was living in Australia from my small days. By about the age of 8 years I once more came back to my motherland and studied at Museus College for a few years. Then I went back to Australia and studied there till I completed my degree and having lived  there came back to Sri Lanka last April.

With my home people I went to meet artiste Sarath Chandrasiri who was a friend of our family. We went and met him in his office at Nugegoda. That day I came to know actors and actresses like Bimal, Himali, Vishwa. But I had no special feelings about Vishwa as such. But when he said that he wanted to take a photo with one of our friends, I only helped him to take it. That's all. 

After that day Vishwa had got my telephone number and spoke to me. It was Sarath Chandrasiri uncle who assisted him for it. Vishwa said that he took a liking to me the very first day he saw me. I developed some sort of a feeling for him. We continued talking to each other on the phone. I knew that our ideas agreed with each other. Though I had got proposals through known people, I had not chosen anybody.

Later I gave my consent to Vishwa's proposal. He was a person with pleasant qualities. Our horoscopes also were compatible. Our home people too liked him. Because Vishwa was an actor, some people began to say various things. But I have hundred per cent faith in him.

I am of course a bit jealous for Vishwa playing the role of the lover on the screen. But I do like him acting in the future also".
