Story of how singer Amal Perera gulped down 18 rottis at once

This is a different type of story about singer Amal Perera who is to be interrogated by the police by the police on suspicion of having stolen the albino turtle. It is a story of egg rottis. It is an incident which took place at a beach hotel when under liquor.

This is how he described the incident at a rupavahini programme when he explained how he ate 18 egg rottis at one stretch:
                                               "To understand that incident, one has to be drunk a little. It was almost as if by not being in a proper frame of mind that this happened. I ate more than 18 egg rottis that day. We went to a beach party. The word 'Rotti' was displayed there in a peculiar way. We also felt a desire. Even foreigners come there and eat. So we too finished and went once again and waited in the queue and started eating put forward before us. The foreigners were watching till it was finished. I also ate and the others also. Somebody would have counted ... not very much sober  no .... I had eaten more than 18 egg rottis, that time".
