• HSBC and Standard Chartered Bank have been fined at America for helping frauds
• Tele drama actress Dilini and  Tele actor Shashiranga have fallen in love and will be married  next year

HSBC and Standard Chartered Bank has been fined at America

Four American banks that have helped frauds to happen, have been fined by their courts.
•    Standard Chartered (fined $327m for sanctions-busting)
•    HSBC (fined $1.9bn for money-laundering and sanctions-busting)
•    Lloyds Bank ($350m for sanctions-busting)
•    Siemens ($800m for corruption)
Among them are two banks which have their branches in Sri Lanka and they are HSBC and Standard Chartered Bank. Standard Chartered Bank has been fined $ 327 and HSBC has been fined a sum of $1.9 billion.
American government has showed them that they have been supporting illegal drug dealers and frauds intentionally. The banks have agreed to pay their fines.


Tele drama actress Dilini and Tele actor Shashiranga have fallen in love and will be married in next year

Dilini Lakmali and Shashiranga Wickramasekara who are rising artists in Tele dramas have become lovers. Dilini entered acting after becoming the beauty queen on an ITN beauty contest and has got to know Shashiranga while working in Tele dramas. It is reported that they have got the consent of their parents as well and that they are planning for their wedding in the coming year.



A child is born at 12.12PM on the 12th of December 2012 in Ratnapura

A child was born yesterday (12.12.2012) at 12.12PM Ratnapura General Hospital. It was a normal child birth and not through a caesarian operation It was the first birth for the mother who is 31 year old Gayani Susanthika who is a teacher. The father is a businessman from Ratnapura Goraka Ela area and he is Rukman Gunathilake. It had been a baby girl. The baby girl’s birth time has indicated the astrological sign “Aquarius” and ‘anura’ auspicious time. It is said to be a very lucky horoscope. Such an auspicious time will come only in another 1000 years time.
