 About that fact that Nirosha Wimalaratna alias ‘Cobra girl’ was born in India and her father is a Italian National,that she had studied in an International school, the Cobra had been found from a ‘Devale’ in Kandy are all incorrect reports as give wide publicity are all false stories.
The true story is that she had been born to a very family in Kandy. The Father had been a drunken and hence her mother had gone abroad leaving Nirosha. She had been brought up since by her Grandfather is a small house covered with just planks.
All which she had disclosed to the media which gave a huge amount of publicity are all false was disclosed by one Pieris and her Grandfather. The story that she was born in India, her father is an Italian National and that she had got her cobra from Dompawela ‘devale’. The ‘Demon priest’ of the devale had also disproved this story as well saying that there no snakes in that ‘devale’.
These facts she had revealed to the authorities at the Cleopatra Night club for her to get a job as a dancing girl. It is learnt that she had been chased away from her village in Kandy for proving her wrong doings.
All these stories she had disclosed when she was taken into custody was to gain sympathy for her case. All the stories given wide publicity to the media are incorrect stories. She works for the Cleopatra Night club which had attracted many new members because of her.  Hence the owner, the son of ‘Jeena Madam’ had spent a lot of money for her cases that she had filed. It is a pity that incorrect information had misled the media in publishing incorrect information to gain recognition.
