AYOMI CLASSIFIES THE WEB SITE THAT PUBLISHED THE ‘NEWS’ ABOUT HER DIVORCE AS THIRD GRADE

The media published that the popularTele actress Ayomi Shanika alias Sudu Nangi was not legally married. However it was a terrible disappointment for her when the divorce case she filed against her husband at the Kaduwela Magistrate courts was heard a few weeks back. The details of this case were published after verifications were obtained from the related authorities at the Kaduwela Magistrate courts.
After the case several media personnel had tried to obtain correct information from her to be published in the media. There had been no response from her in regard to her case. May be the reason is that the secrets that were hidden within her would be exposed. She had responded in anger to questions posed.
When a journalist attached to the ‘Meevitha’ tabloid edition of Sundays ‘Divaina’ had approached her to obtain correct information. Without disclosing anything she had quipped:
“I am not willing to clarify further to what had already been published in third class web sites. This information had been published without contacting me and obtaining correct information from me. Hence hereafter I will not log into such web sites”.
