MISS INTERNATIONAL 2ND RUNNER UP MADUSHA ARRIVES IN SRI LANKA

Madusha who became third in the Miss International contest who brought fame to Sri Lanka returns to Sri Lanka

Miss International contest was held in the Okinawa city in Japan a few days ago in a glittering and spectacular ceremony. Our own Madhusha Mayadunne who was placed third brought fame and laurels to Sri Lanka returned to Sri Lanka this morning.
To receive her at the Katunayake International Airport a well organised group was present to welcome her home. For this Miss International 2012 contest contestants from 77 countries had taken place. For Madhusha to have been placed third amongst them is a great achievement which brought immense laurels to Sri Lanka.
She was an old girl of Vishaka Vidyalaya, Colombo. After completing her education she had proceeded to USA and had studied courses in fashion designing in Atlanta’s United College and Westminister College in Misurihi.
Now she has qualified as a professional fashion designer. She could speak Sinhala, English and Spanish languages very fluently. She had posed for some popular magazines on the cover pages published in England. Madusha was selected to participate in this Miss International contest after she became the runner up in the Miss Sri Lanka 2012 contest. The winner of Miss Sri Lanka contest 2012 Miss Sabrina Herft was selected to represent Sri Lanka in the Miss World contest 2012.
It was reported by the media that this contest is the third largest beauty pageant held in the world. Madusha Mayadunne who was selected to be the third in this contest should be given bouquets, hailed and acclaimed for this feat for bringing laurels and fame to our country.
