Government servants had flocked to Mobitel outlets to get free dongles

Mobitel has launched a new project to give dongles free of charge for the government servants. It had been advertised it on newspapers which has been named as “  Upahara Internet Package”.
Mobitel has decided to offer a free dongle in order to attract the customers and since they have mentioned that only a limited number of offers are available, the government servants had raided Mobitel outlets to get a free dongle.
Registration fee was said to be Rs.1000/- and a monthly rental of Rs.299/- and the customer has to sign an agreement for two years. People who agreed to that were given to be given free dongles. But if we look at the facts we can see that they earn the full amount of the dongle and if the customer wishes to leave it, they have to pay the full amount.
When we compare its advantages and disadvantages, we can see that 5GB is given for a Rs.229/-. Yet it is also mentioned in small letters that 3GB can be used from midnight to 9 o’ clock in the morning, and the other 2GB can be used from 9 to midnight which includes working hours.
Therefore, it is questionable as to whether this package will be advantageous for government servants. When we cut the sleeping and working hours, we will be using only 2GB per month. Comparing this package to the other packages of 5GB, there isn’t any advantage as such. Even though it was said that the Mobitel Voice customers don’t have to pay Rs1000/- for registration, many journalists have turned back with nothing. It had been told that this package is not to be given to journalists.
