SIRASA DAHASAK MAL MISTAKE (AUDIO)

‘Dahasak Mal’ had faced an awkward situation by trying to fool someone on her birthday

‘Sirasa’ FM channel which has a popular daily programme, had faced an awkward experience trying to wish a girl on her birthday. As they have tried to fool her without directly telling who expects to wish her, then her husband who had got mad at them had scolded them using filth.
‘Sirasa’ Dahasak Mal is a program which wishes their fans on their birthday after fooling with them for a while. It had been a popular program among their fans. When a friend’s or relative’s birthday is been informed to ‘Sirasa’ Dahasak Mal along with their phone number, they call them on their birthday and pull their leg for the whole country to hear how they react to it.

 Later, before they cut the line, they make a surprise birthday wish. The fans have got used to gather around the radio as this program is broadcasted in the afternoon and the announcers have been very clever at handling their callers. But yesterday’s incident had been a shocking experience to the fans as well as to the program, announcers and the producer.
Yesterday they have tried to pull the leg of a lady named “Sumithra” saying it’s one of her son’s friends who is speaking. The announcer had used baby talk to fool the lady and she who has suspected it to be someone else had given the phone to her husband. Her husband had said “stop f******” to the announcer while it had been broadcasted live. The announcers had cut the line immediately and continued with the programme as if nothing had happened. The dialogue that took place between them is as below:

Announcer: Ah aunty, Senuri told that you will send us sweets… did you make any sweets?
Receiver: How do you know Senuri?
Announcer: I am Dhanushka Ramithajeewa, we are in the same class in Grade 3.
Receiver: Dhanushka….
Announcer: Yes… Dhanushka Ramithajeewa. (Receiver is quiet)
Announcer: Aunty why are you talking so arrogantly. (Receiver is quiet)
Announcer: aunty, are you scared that you will have to spend a lot on your birthdays? (Receiver is quiet)
Receiver: …. (Talking to her husband- Someone is calling and asking whether we are scared that we will have to spend a lot on birthdays. I don’t know who it is…)
Announcer: Don’t know who it is? Won’t it be good if you can send some sweets to your son’s friends?
Husband: Stop f****** around….
Announcer: ha ha ha… (Announcers laughed loud)
Announcer 1: We were trying to wish you on your birthday… in vain they have cut the line.
Announcer 2: the line has got cut.
Announcer 2: Sumitha, we are from ‘Dahsak’ Mal program. We wanted to wish you a happy birthday. It was Latha who wanted to convey her regards.
