Who is this attractive Thai girl our President met in Kuwait?
A common site during our President’s visit to the Kuwait conference was the meeting of elderly leaders shaking hands, hugging and embracing each other. But an unusual photograph that was highlighted was that of our President speaking in a friendly and cordial manner with an attractive Thai girl wearing a short frock exposing her legs. This made many to be very inquisitive and to be very particular and keen to know who this attractive Thai girl was.
When enquiries were made it was made to understand and know precisely that
she was none other than the current Prime Minister of Thailand. She is Yingluke Sinwathra’ who had successfully held the position of Prime Minister of Thailand for a period of one year. She is Buddhist and is the sister of Thakshin Sinwathra, a former Prime Minister of Thailand.
Although she looked very young and attractive she is 45 years old, married having one child. She had created history in the field of politics in Thailand by becoming the first woman Prime Minister in the annals of the political history of Thailand. She is also the youngest in age to be appointed as the Prime Minister of Thailand.
From the year 2001 to 2006 the Prime Minister was Thakshin Sinwathra. When he was ruling the country the Government was thrown out with the intervention of the military personnel. During the time of the military regime, there was so much pressure on the people of Thailand. The people wanted to overpower the military regime by organising various protests and demonstrations. This made the military government to fall off. The person who gave the leadership to these protests was none other than this pretty Thai girl, the current Prime Minister Yingluke Sinwathra. This made a new election to be held in the year 2011.In this election she won 75% of people’s votes and when the new government was formed she was unanimously made the Prime Minister of Thailand.
She had studied in Thailand and then in America and holds degrees in Political Science and matters related to cordiality and friendliness amongst the people. She hails from a business family in Thailand. They are engaged in the silk industry and the name of the chain of factories is ‘Sinwathra”.
Before entering politics after completing her two degrees stated above, she had served as a senior executive officer in TNT Communication Company and later she had been the Chief Executive Officer of a very popular Tele- communication company in Thailand.
Her brother Thakshin Sinwathra was also a former Prime Minister and her husband Somichimo’ was a Prime Minister during the regime of the military government. She it is learnt is a very popular personality among the people of Thailand besides her position as the Prime minister, particularly as she has brought the Thailand’s economy to much higher levels than what it was from quite a long time ago.
