KIRALAKELE MURDER REVEALED

Kiralakele murderer had been found from his bracelet which he had worn, been recorded in the wedding video

26 year old youth’s dead body found at Kirilakele in Matara was found the other day. The Police had found the murderer from a bracelet that has been found near the dead body. The dead person had been found to be Chaminda Thushara who had been a resident of Hiththeutiya area in Matara. His hands and the head had been cut off from the body. He had gone for a friend’s wedding on the 5th and since he had been missing afterwards; his family had made a complaint in the Police. Then the body has been found in a swamp at Kiralakele after two days.
Matara Police had visited the place where the dead body was found and Sergeant Ajith had collected a bracelet which had been trampled by him. He had given advice to Police Inspector, Hemal Prashantha to keep it safe until the investigation are over as he has had doubt about it as it might become a clue to the investigations. Finally, the bracelet had helped them in identifying the murderer.
During the investigations, the main hypothesis build by the Police had been that the cause for the death would have been a clash that had happened during the last New Year season. It was found that Chaminda had fought at gambling with another friend and he had announced to everybody that he will somehow take revenge from him. But the Police had found that there is no relationship between that incident and this murder.
Then the Police had paid attention to the wedding where Chaminda had been at last on the day of the murder. Since the wedding had been recorded in a video, the Police had attempted to find some evidence by watching the video.
A DVD copy of the wedding album had been brought to Matara Police station and while watching the video, the Police had concentrated on finding evidence. Then the police had noted one person who had stood out the rest because who had worn the bracelet that had been found near the dead body.
Then the Police had started investigations about him. That guy had been crying at the funeral and pretending to be the best friend to Chaminda and he had been known to the whole village. Yet none has had a clue about the problem that they were having. He had been taken the Police and inquired about the murder but he hadn’t said a word but denied having known anything about the incident, until the Police showed him the wedding video where he had been wearing the bracelet. Then he had confessed about the murder.
He had confessed that the cause for the murder had been a chat they had about an illicit relationship. He has had plan to kill him earlier than that and that he had taken the support of five others for the murder. First he had been shot and then they have cut him into pieces and thrown them away so that nobody can recognize the body. He had thrown the bracelet as there had been blood stains all over it.
The Police had been able to arrest the other five people who are related to the murder. The courts had ordered to remand them until the 23rd.
The case which had first been mislead but had been successful should be thankful to the silent evidence of a ‘bracelet’.
