DISHONEST GROOM APPEARS IN TAMIL NEWSPAPER

An dishonest groom who had advertised himself on matrimonial in a Tamil newspaper several times even after getting married has been caught yesterday

A man who had been cheating on women through matrimonial advertisements had been caught from Kelaniya. This man had been advertising with his phone number. He had been inviting women who would like to talk to him directly as he has no relatives.
He had also been saying that he owns a lot of property. It had been also said that he is very talkative and seductive so that it had been a very easy job for him to get the girls fall into his trap.
He had been interested in women with assets and after the marriage, he had been changing his residence. He had also taken money saying that he needs money for business. It had been a habit for him to escape with money few months after their marriage.
After cheating on some other women, the Police had been able to raid this man who had been hiding in Wanawasala in Kelaniya. After an investigation, the Police had been able to reveal that he is Thangarasa Pushparasa from Vavuniya.
After the divorce from the first marriage, he had married twice legally. Out of the last two, he had escaped from one wife within a period of three months saying that he needs Rs 22 lacks to be hospitalized. Then he had asked Rs 20 lacks from his third wife for business purposes.
The Police had found an army jungle suit and some forms relating to foreign tours. Thus, it is suspected that he is involved in many other rackets.
He had been taken before Peliyagoda Courts for breaking the codes of law through his cheating and polygamy.
