IIFA 2010 UNSETTLED BILLS

For not settling the bills in connection with the IIFA 2010 awards ceremony Cinnamon Grand Hotel institutes legal action against the Tourist Development Board:

The 2010 IIFA awards ceremony was held in Sri Lanka with the participation of a number of Bollywood stars. The accommodation for those who participated was arranged at the Cinnamon Grand Hotel. Rooms were booked and kept reserved but a few to whom rooms were reserved did not participate.
The unpaid bills were for rooms, meals, for receptions etc. The authorities of the Cinnamon Grand Hotel had instituted action against the Tourist Development Board for non payment of bills amounting to a massive Rs 29 Million, it is reported from well informed sources.
