The nude dead body in a tank of foul water remains still a mystery
Still the police haven’t been able to find out any details about the nude dead body of a girl which was sealed and wrapped in a plastic net found floating in a tank at Bandarapola, Matale.
Even though the villagers had tried to open the plastic cover of this unusual dead body, their attempt was not successful as the dead body was tightly wrapped in the net.
The police suspects that something was tied to the body to avoid it from floating on the water, and now they believe that the body would have been tied to a huge stone which may have slipped off..
However the villagers have been able to see the dead body as it had floated on the water due to some reason.
However due to some reason the body which would have been tied to a heavy object may have slipped out and had been floating on the water. It was reported that the body is of a girl between 20-25 years of age and that she was in a nude state. The police suspected that she may have been raped and killed.
