MOBILE PHONE CASE AT DEVI BALIKA VIDYALAYA

One week hostel suspension for 17 girls at Devi Balika Vidyalaya
due to possessing cell phones with music videos which are prohibited.

Devi Balika Vidyalaya one of the leading best girls’ schools in Colombo has suspended 17 girls who were occupants of the school’s hostel. The reason had been that they have misused their mobile phones inappropriately.
The students in the hostel were barred to use mobile phones in the school. Yet these students have brought their mobiles breaking the laid down school rules. They have been caught by the Matron when they had been used the mobiles to watch music videos.
The parents have been called and after advising them the student have been banned from entering the school hostel for a week yet they are allowed to attend the school during this week from their homes or elsewhere.
