Amidst the rains of cats and dogs, Deyata Kirula attracts large crowds
Due to the heavy rains at Mayamaduwa in Anuradhapura where “Deyata Kirula” is held the public who have come in large numbers are facing a lot of constraints and obstacles.
Yesterday afternoon, the exhibition was temporarily stopped for few hours due to pouring heavy rains and not only the people who came to see the exhibition but also the authorities who were in charge of the stalls faced a lot of constraints.
However, to date more than 1.5 million people have visited the exhibition and according to the orders of the President the exhibition which was to be completed on the 10th has been extended until the 12th for more people to the visit the exhibition.
