Rupavahini’s Director General given resignation letter to quitThe Director General of Rupavahini Corporation Devapriya Abeysinghe has been ordered to resign on the orders of the President. He has completed 15 years service at the Rupavahini.His letter in this regard has been handed over to him to resign yesterday with effect from the end of this month it is reliably reported.
It is learnt that this is owing to two discrepancies’ that have been brought to light in respect of IPL and the telecast of Tele dramas according to the COPE report.
