The initial rounds at the Miss Universe 2011 contest are been held in the city of Savo Pavulo in Brazil. Miss Sri Lanka Stephne Siriwardena who is participating in this contest is already in Brazil in preparation for the event to be held on the 12th September 2011.
The contestants from countries all over the world are already in Brazil to participate in this contest. They are these days been entertained to various cultural shows of Brazil Nationals.

Correct me if I am wrong but Stephne Siriwardena physical features or appearance barely represents a typical Sri lankan women. I think its a necessity in a global event such as this to have an individual that looks very Sri lankan. Any halfwit that sees miss India for instance will surely know that she's from India. Nothing serious but something to ponder.
