Pavilion seats damaged at Hambantota Stadium
During the progress of the 2nd One Day International (D/N) cricket match between Sri Lanka and Australia played at the Mahinda Rajapaksa International Cricket Stadium on Sunday around 8.30 p.m., a fight between two factions of the crowd had taken place within the pavilion. This had been owing to some personal grudge and this pandemonium had to be stopped with the intervention of the Police Owing to this fight pavilion chairs have been damaged.
It is reported that certain TV channels had expressed that exposure of this incident may bring a black mark to our country.
