SAJITH WILL PROTEST AT SIRIKOTHA

‘I will bring tomorrow a gathering of 10,000 to Pita Kotte junction’-SAJITH

With a view to force remove Ranil Wickremasinghe from the party leadership, Sajith intends to challenge him by bringing in a gathering of 10,000 to Pita- Kotte junction where the UNP’s headquarters Sirikotha is located It is proposed to have the UNP’s Central committee meeting tomorrow the 17th.
From every electoral division Sajith has arranged to bring in 2 bus loads of people, all supporters of the UNP. Sajith has made over a period of time a strong proposal to replace Ranil by making Karu Jayasuriya the party leader. Amidst differences within the party, Ranil is determined to stay on as the leader of the UNP.
