Three Elephants Killed, by a train at AmbanpolaIn a train mishap three elephants were killed by a train that was coming to Colombo from Anuradhapura. As it was in the early morning the train driver had not seen the elephants on the rail track to apply brakes in time to prevent the tragic mishap. This was reported this morning (18) from Ambanpola. This had caused a delay in the train service along this line.
