Prices of bread, fish buns and rolls increased

It is reported that all prices of bakery related products have gone up in price bet ween Rs 2/- Rs 10/-

The spokesman of the All Island Bakery owners society had revealed that a loaf of bread 400 grams

in weight has risen by Rs 5/-

In relation to this price hike  prices of all bakery related short eats too have been  increased. This has been revealed by the President of the All Island Bakery Owners society NK.Jayawardena on the 12th instant.

He had stated that the reason for this is that the ingredients used for the manufacture of the bakery related short eats have been increased by Rs 2/ to Rs 80/-

The president  of the society NK Jayawardena had further said that this increase had been made owing to the increase in the prices of raw materials and not just a decision of the society.
