Chef dies after falling from the upper floor of a hotel in Katunayake

Seeduwa Police report that a chef working at a hotel in Katunayake has died after falling from an upper floor of the hotel. The person who unfortunately died in this manner is Pradeep Priyashantha, a resident of Isuru Pedesa, Boyagane.

Initial police investigations have revealed that the employee, after finishing his duties on the night of the 15th, went to his room located on the upper floor of the restaurant where he was staying. At that time, two other employees working at the same restaurant were staying in another room adjacent to it.

Information has also been revealed that some dispute occurred between the deceased and another person who was in the room on the day of the incident. However, the exact manner in which this accident occurred or the reason behind it has not yet been confirmed, and Seeduwa Police are conducting further investigations into the incident.
