It won't be easy to imprison me - Namal

Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) Member of Parliament Namal Rajapaksa stated that imprisoning him is not an easy task, and even if such a thing were to happen, all necessary steps have already been taken to ensure the party's future program continues uninterrupted.

Speaking at a special training program held at the party headquarters, the MP stated that the party's organizational network, from village level to district level, has already been strengthened to successfully face any challenge.

He further emphasized that even if he is imprisoned, the party's activities will not be hampered, and clear plans have been prepared for establishing branch committees and power boards, directing divisional level activities, and how to conduct electorate and district meetings. Further commenting on the matter, he stated,

"Imprisoning me is not easy. Even if I am, it's not a problem. We have clearly made a plan on how to form branch committees and power boards. We have a program on how to carry out divisional work at the village level. How to convene electorate power boards. How to conduct district meetings."
