It is reported that the bodies of the prison officers who lost their lives in the Negombo prison clash were brought to Welikada Prison this morning (08) in a motorcade.




After paying last respects to those officers, the bodies are scheduled to be handed over to their family members.

On the morning of the 6th, 7 officers of the Prison Special Tactical Unit lost their lives inside Negombo Prison due to inhumane assaults by prison inmates.
