The 15-year-old drug dealer is Saman Kolla's employee.

A 15-year-old school student has been arrested by the police on suspicion of being connected to a drug network operated by 'Saman Kolla', a notorious member of an organized crime gang. This raid was carried out last Monday (15) night in the Suduwella area of Madampe, Ambalangoda, based on intelligence received by police officers.

At the time of the arrest, officers were able to seize a stock of drugs worth approximately five hundred thousand rupees from the suspect student's possession. Subsequent preliminary interrogations and examination of the suspect's mobile phone revealed that he had been in close communication with the underworld member 'Saman Kolla' and had received various instructions and commands from him regarding drug distribution and storage.

Investigations revealed that the suspect had received commands via mobile phone messages regarding the locations from which to obtain drug consignments and where to safely conceal them. Accordingly, based on the received phone guidelines and map notations, the police were able to identify several locations where drug packets had been hidden. It is stated that this student actively operated within this distribution network, holding and concealing drug packets in various locations under the direct instructions of the relevant trafficker.

The arrested suspect is a 10th-grade student attending a school within the Ambalangoda educational zone. Arrangements were made to present him before the Balapitiya Magistrate's Court on Tuesday (16), and the Elpitiya Police are conducting further extensive investigations into the incident.
