The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CEYPETCO) has decided to revise fuel prices effective from midnight on June 29, 2026. According to the latest media release issued on the said date, these price reductions have been made to provide relief to consumers.

According to the new price revision, the price of a liter of Lanka Petrol 92 Octane has been reduced by Rs. 20.00, with its new retail price being Rs. 414.00. Previously, its price was Rs. 434.00. Similarly, the price of a liter of Lanka White Diesel has been reduced by Rs. 25.00, bringing its new price down to Rs. 382.00. The old price for a liter of White Diesel was recorded as Rs. 407.00. However, there have been no changes in the prices of several other fuel types. Accordingly, the price of a liter of Lanka Petrol 95 Octane Euro 4, which was Rs. 495.00, and the price of a liter of Lanka Super Diesel 4 Star Euro 4, which was Rs. 478.00, will remain unchanged. Furthermore, the announcement states that the price of a liter of Lanka Kerosene will also remain unchanged at its previous value of Rs. 285.00. The Corporation has requested media organizations to inform CEYPETCO distributors and consumers across the island about this fuel price revision. They have also stated that if further details are required, one can contact the media division operating under the Corporate Communications and Customer Services Unit of the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation via their telephone numbers.
