A youth arrested from Hokandara with five high-powered motorcycles

Police have succeeded in arresting a twenty-five-year-old youth with five high-powered motorcycles and two fake registration number plates during a special raid conducted in the Hokandara area. This raid was carried out yesterday (29) afternoon based on information received by a team of officers from the Homagama Divisional Criminal Investigation Unit.

The suspect was arrested in the Hokandara area, which falls under the Athurugiriya Police Division, and police state that he is a resident of the same area. The suspect, along with the high-powered motorcycles and fake number plates taken into police custody, has been handed over to the Athurugiriya Police Station for further legal action, and Athurugiriya Police are conducting further investigations into the incident.
