Kareena intervenes in Karishma's children's property issue.

Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor Khan, in a special note posted on her social media accounts, has stated that truth and justice always prevail. Although she did not directly mention any specific incident, it is noteworthy that these comments were made after the Delhi High Court granted interim relief to her sister Karishma Kapoor's children in an ongoing trial concerning their father's property.

In this legal dispute concerning the distribution of the late Sanjay Kapoor's property between Karishma's children, Samaira and Kiaan, and Priya Kapoor, the Delhi High Court has temporarily prohibited Priya Kapoor from using or dealing with the relevant assets. A single-judge bench headed by Justice Jyoti Singh ordered that the property must be preserved as is until the case is fully heard and concluded, as serious attention must be paid to the points raised by the petitioners.

This legal dispute is primarily based on a will dated March 21, 2025. It is stated that Sanjay Kapoor's entire personal property has been transferred to Priya, while Samaira and Kiaan allege that it is a forged document. Their lawyers have argued in court that the document was altered under suspicious circumstances with the intention of depriving them and their grandmother of their rightful inheritance.

However, the court has clarified that the authenticity and validity of the said will will not be decided at the time of this interim order, but will be determined during the upcoming trial. Karishma Kapoor's ex-husband, Sanjay Kapoor, passed away in June 2025 at the age of 53 due to a heart attack while playing polo in the United Kingdom.
