President Anura has no understanding regarding this matter - immediately summon former presidents.

Former Member of Parliament and prominent Pohottuwa leader Janaka Tissakuttiarachchi has said this.

"The President has no understanding of this war. Please call the former presidents. President Mahinda Rajapaksa is there, President Ranil Wickremesinghe is there, President Maithripala Sirisena is there, and Madam Chandrika Bandaranaike Kumaratunga is there. This is a moment when all five presidents should come together and work for the security of the motherland.

This is a moment when we need to act intelligently, a moment when we need to work diligently. The first thing that happened to the group that came saying, "Bring a bench, I will teach you about the country's national security," is that they failed to ensure the country's national security. Also, at a time when such a situation has arisen in the world, this group is not behaving as it should. Regarding this, Mr. Namal Rajapaksa, even better than me, has convened a team at this time and has been working responsibly with them since yesterday. Similarly, the president who has best conquered the international arena is Mr. Mahinda Rajapaksa. He too has been working on this since yesterday evening. Because if a problem is going to arise for the motherland, at this moment, whether it is President Anura Kumara Dissanayake or someone else is not what is important to us.

What is important at this moment is the security and peace of the motherland. In a wartime situation, we are not a strong enough country to take sides. Therefore, we must act very strategically. This is not a small problem. That's why I said, the group that claimed, "Bring a bench, I will teach you about national security," has today reached a point where a ship from another country is attacked by yet another country within our maritime boundaries. Next, I saw the main internal problem related to this; rescuing the crew on that ship. Today, it has also reached a point where we wonder how America will view it, and how opposing countries will view it. This is not something that should be taken lightly. This is a time when we need to work with great responsibility for the security of this country. Our doubt is whether this government will be able to do that.

Because the President has no understanding of this matter. The Secretary of State for Defense has no understanding of national security. The Minister of Defense and the State Minister have no understanding of this. The Prime Minister and the ministers of the government have no responsibility. We can see that from the statements made to the media. For some, this is a game. Even when there was a war within our country, we acted with more responsibility and security than this. This is a time when the world is heading towards a wartime situation. Therefore, please, President Anura Kumara Dissanayake, I remind you that it's okay if you make mistakes within the country due to your inability and lack of experience, but do not get entangled with other countries in front of the world.

Therefore, please call the former presidents. President Mahinda Rajapaksa is there, President Ranil Wickremesinghe is there, President Maithripala Sirisena is there, and Madam Chandrika Bandaranaike Kumaratunga is there. Please gather these four presidents, either at your residence or at another public place, and together with the current President, all five presidents should set aside other political matters. This is a moment when all five presidents should come together and work for the security of the motherland. The point we propose to the President is that you cannot do this alone.

We know now that he has failed. When the President, who couldn't solve the problems in these areas during the dual storm, now visits these areas, we see that only twenty-five thousand rupees have been allocated to the houses that were promised fifty thousand rupees. Now, when twenty-one million rupees are allocated to the Thalawa Divisional Secretariat area, only ten million have been used for those activities so far. Did the remaining money arrive or disappear?

I don't know how they manage. As I walk through these villages, I see sand and soil in the paddy fields. There is no method to clear them. Because there is no method to clear the soil, this is a government that couldn't even rebuild a bridge washed away by the dual storm, a government that couldn't even repair a single road that was destroyed. We brought a concrete culture. They brought a sandbag culture. We went to a developed era, while they are currently going to the Stone Age. The people of this country have no faith in a president of such a government, a prime minister of such a government, or such a government today.

In the past war, Prabhakaran's 'Kurumbattiya' (small aircraft) came to Colombo in our country and targeted the President's House and Parliament. But today, it's possible to attack a country thousands of kilometers away. That's the new technology. Therefore, there's nothing to research or think about regarding our country. If angered, America or an allied country just needs to press one switch in one place, and the whole country is finished. In such a situation, as citizens, surrounded by these innocent people, we humbly request you to act with more responsibility and security.

Also, the people of the country need to be reminded that there's no need to think too much about the speeches the current President makes in Parliament; he is under severe mental stress. Therefore, we have a fear. Today, we have the question of whether the decisions he makes due to his severe mental stress are correct. This is a situation that President Anura Kumara Dissanayake is facing due to lack of experience.

Therefore, the people of the country have a doubt whether this President, given his current behavior and way of speaking, will make decisions favorable to our country due to his severe mental stress. We do not believe that you are in a mental state to make decisions alone at this time. Therefore, please let's discuss collectively and make decisions for the country. Tell us to come at any time for the motherland.
