Fuel price up

The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CEYPETCO) has decided to significantly increase all fuel prices effective from midnight 12.00 AM on March 21, 2026. Accordingly, fuel will be sold under this new price revision through all CEYPETCO filling stations island-wide.

According to this new price revision, the price of a liter of Lanka Petrol 92 Octane has been increased by Rs. 81, with its new price becoming Rs. 398. Similarly, the price of a liter of Lanka Petrol 95 Octane Euro 4 has been increased by Rs. 90, making its new selling price Rs. 455. Diesel prices have also increased concurrently; due to an increase of Rs. 79 per liter of Lanka White Diesel, consumers will now have to pay a new price of Rs. 382 for it. The price of a liter of Lanka Super Diesel 4 Star Euro 4 has also been increased by Rs. 90, and accordingly, its new price is recorded as Rs. 443. Additionally, the price of a liter of Lanka Kerosene has also been increased by Rs. 60. Accordingly, the new price of a liter of kerosene, which was previously sold for Rs. 195, has increased to Rs. 255.
