Zimbabwe displayed a disciplined batting performance, scoring a strong 169 runs for 2 wickets at the end of 20 overs. Australia, who won the toss and elected to field first, saw their top-order batsmen suffer a severe setback, and




 their 4 wickets fell for 29 runs within 6 overs (Powerplay). Although Matthew Renshaw played a fighting innings, scoring 65 runs off 44 balls, and Glenn Maxwell contributed 31 runs, wickets continued to fall at regular intervals. Blessing Muzarabani played a crucial role by taking 4 wickets, and the Australian team was all out for 146 runs in 19.3 overs. With this excellent 23-run victory, Zimbabwe boosted their 'Super Eight' hopes, which significantly impacted Australia's tournament. 

Match 20: Canada vs United Arab Emirates (Group D, Delhi)

Struggling against the bowlers of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), the Canadian team managed a moderate score of 150 runs for 7 wickets at the end of 20 overs. In response, the UAE team recorded a thrilling victory, scoring 151 runs for 5 wickets with 2 balls remaining. With this 5-wicket win, the UAE team secured their first points in the tournament. Their performance in the crucial death overs kept their hopes of advancing in Group D alive. This defeat for Canada hindered their progress. 

Match 21: United States of America vs Netherlands (Group A, Chennai)




Thanks to Mukkamalla's rapid 79 runs and Ranjane's unbeaten 48*, the United States of America (USA) built a massive total of 196/6. In response, the Netherlands team struggled from the start and was all out for 103 runs in 15.5 overs. In bowling, Harmeet Singh took 4 wickets for 21 runs, and van Schalkwyk provided excellent support. With this massive 93-run victory, the USA marked their first win in the 2026 T20 World Cup tournament. Harmeet Singh was awarded Player of the Match.
