Government radiation technologists on a 24-hour island-wide strike on Wednesday

The Government Radiographers' Association states that government radiographers have decided to carry out a 24-hour symbolic island-wide strike on the upcoming Wednesday (21). The Association also mentions that this strike is scheduled to begin at 8.00 AM on that day.

The Association further stated that the Ministry of Health's failure to conduct an impartial investigation into an issue that has arisen at the National Institute of Nephrology, Dialysis and Transplant located in Maligawatta is the reason for this action.

The Association also points out that although the Ministry was previously informed in writing regarding this matter, no response was received.
