Double Trouble: Father and Fiancé Fall Ill on Wedding Day, Smriti Mandhana's Wedding Postponed Amidst Unforeseen Circumstances

 The wedding ceremony between Indian women's cricket team vice-captain Smriti Mandhana and music director Palash Muchhal, which was scheduled to take place, has been suddenly postponed by a decision of the family members. All arrangements were made for the grand ceremony on November 23rd, but this decision had to be taken due to unexpected family health issues.

While preparations were rapidly underway at Mandhana Farm House in Sangli for the wedding ceremony, on the morning of the wedding day, Smriti's father, Mr. Srinivas Mandhana, suffered a sudden heart attack. He experienced sudden chest pain and discomfort while having breakfast, and as the situation felt serious, the family immediately took steps to admit him to a private hospital.

Smriti's manager, Tuhin Mishra, speaking to the media, stated that the family decided not to take any risks as her father's health deteriorated. It is reported that he is under strict medical observation, and since Smriti is very close to her father, she decided to postpone the wedding until he makes a full recovery.

Further complicating the situation, Indian media reports that after her father's hospitalization, Palash Muchhal, who was to marry Smriti, also suddenly fell ill and was hospitalized. With two key family members hospitalized simultaneously due to their poor health, the wedding ceremony has had to be postponed indefinitely, and the family's full attention is now focused on their recovery.

With the cancellation of the wedding ceremony, arrangements have been made to remove the decorations from the event venue, and Smriti has taken steps to remove photos and videos from the Haldi and Mehendi ceremonies held over the past few days from social media. In addition to her, Indian cricketers Shreyanka Patil and Jemimah Rodrigues have also removed all videos and photos related to the wedding that they had shared on social media.
