These developments have forced the airline to reroute flights, leading to longer journey times for passengers traveling between Sri Lanka and Europe.

In a statement, the airline confirmed that Flight UL504, arriving today from London to Colombo, has been diverted to Doha for refueling as part of the new flight path adjustments. Similarly, Flight UL501 from Colombo to Paris is being rerouted to avoid restricted airspace affected by the geopolitical situation.
