Sinopec Revamps and Reopens Five Fuel Stations in Colombo

China’s leading energy company, Sinopec, has successfully completed the renovation of five major fuel stations in key locations across Colombo. This initiative aims to enhance customer service quality and introduce modern facilities to improve the fueling experience.

The renovation project was carried out in collaboration with a Sri Lankan company, ensuring that the upgraded fuel stations are strategically located within the Colombo city limits. These stations are now capable of serving nearly 100 community units in the area, significantly improving accessibility and efficiency.

To support the modernization efforts, a new financing facility was secured. The project aligns with the Sri Lankan government’s “Clean Sri Lanka” initiative, prioritizing improved hygiene standards at fuel stations and enhancing service quality.

Operating under Sinopec’s Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies, this project is designed to offer Sri Lankan consumers a new and improved fueling experience. Additionally, it contributes to the sustainable development of the country’s retail fuel sector.

The revamped fuel stations boast cutting-edge technology, adherence to environmentally friendly standards, and superior customer service levels, setting a new benchmark for fuel distribution in Sri Lanka.
