Dilip's son arrested in Maharagama for assaulting a person

Maharagama Police have arrested the son of Samagi Janabalavegaya MP Dilip Wedaarachchi on suspicion of assaulting a person following an argument over a car accident. The suspect's son's car had collided with another vehicle in Maharagama town, and an argument had escalated between the two parties. The suspect's son has been arrested following a complaint lodged by the victim with the police. It was also reported that his vehicle was slightly damaged in the accident. Wedaarachchi's son has been released on police bail.
