Corona virus cases go up to 72

Two new corona cases were detected this evening (20), head of epidemic diseases unit, consultant Dr. Sudath Samaraweera says. As such, he said that the number of corona virus patients reported from the island has reached 72.

5 new patients affected by corona virus have been identified and as such, the total number of corona
virus cases in Sri Lanka are 70, minister of health Mrs. Pavithra Wanniarachchi said.

According to data received daily by epidemic disease centre of health ministry as at 10 in the morning, 6 other persons have been detected. As such, the the total figure reaches 65. Reports of suspicious corona cases in hospitals islandwide are 218. The March report is as follows:
