How Kadawatha constable was murdered ... shown to Bunty's father across viber technology

Police were able to find on 21st dawn the body of driver-constable of Kadawatha police, Mr. Jayantha Rajapaksa who was missing for four days after being brutally chopped and killed and after being wrapped up in a bed sheet and hidden in a forest in Bulugoda area, Werahera, Pannala. 

It was revealed at investigations that the criminals had murdered the constable and had detached his
sexual organs from his body. It was revealed from police investigations that Bunty the criminal who directed this killing had made his father who is detained in prison to witness 'live' through viber technology on the mobile phone the manner in which the constable was cut and chopped. 

The criminal Sudda who headed the organised gang who gave leadership to abduct the constable and then cut and chop him and kill him was taken into custody on 20th, day before night. It was after questioning this suspect that the location where the body was hidden. Police say that at the time the dead body was recovered it was found to be deteriorated and distorted. 

Officer in charge of Kelaniya division crime investigation unit, Mr. Linton Silva received a tip off about this suspect called 'Sudda'. As such, it was possible to arrest this main suspect during a raid conducted on a house in Rubberwaththa area, Pannala by a special posse of police officers. When this suspect was interrogated at length it was revealed how the constable was kidnapped and murdered. As exposed by inquiries, this organised gang had abducted constable Jayantha Rajapaksa on the dawn of last 17th and that was close to a hotel in Kiribathgoda. 

Sudda, Bunty and two others who came in a three-wheeler had assaulted the constable and after putting him in the tree-wheeler had taken him to the house of Bunty the criminal. Later, early that day the constable was taken to the Pannala Kankaniyamulla reserve. There, Sudda and another had attacked the constable with swords and chopped him and murdered him. Bunty has gone to the extent of providing the opportunity his father of seeing 'live' how the murder of the constable was carried out through means of viber technology. These villains who killed the constable had cut off the constable's sexual region in his body by a sword and had taken it away, it was revealed at investigations.These criminals who then wrapped up constable Rajapaksa's dead body in a bed sheet and after putting the body in a three-wheeler had taken it to the forest in Pannala, Bulugoda. After hiding the body there, the criminals had fled the location.  

The closest reason for the murder of constable Rajapaksa was that he had maintained an illicit connection with the mother of Bunty the suspect and she incidentally was a narcotics dealer. 

Jayantha Rajapaksa who was subjected to murder happened to be a 37 year old father of two children. Constable Jayantha Rajapaksa had been carrying on an illicit alliance for three years with a 47 year old woman who was involved in drug dealing, it was revealed from investigations. This woman's husband is presently imprisoned in connection with narcotics dealing and his two children are against this. Bunty is the elder son of this woman and on a number of instances threatened the constable with death, it was revealed at inquiries. Last 16h Bunty has even assaulted the mother and she in turn has told this to constable Rajapaksa. Later, the police constable has has gone to her house and had taken her to a hotel in Kiribathgoda and stayed there. The constable was kidnapped when he has come out of the hotel to bring dinner for the woman and had stepped on to the road. 

The person called Sudda who had headed operations of the murder incidentally is the son of the elder sister of the woman who carried on this illicit connection, it was revealed from investigations. Police have commenced inquiries to arrest five other suspects inclusive of Bunty who are supposed to be connected to this murder. Under supervision of senior deputy inspector general of police in charge of western province, Deshabandu Tennakoon and superintendent of police of Kelaniya division, Roshan Dias the investigaions are underway under directions of inspector of police, Mr.Linton Silva.
