"I know nothing about Ranjan" -- Ashen

Ashen Senaratna, social network activist was interrogated by Colombo Investigation Department yesterday (12) with regard to inquiries conducted about Ranjan Ramanayaka and this is what he says: "I was questioned for about three hours. What they ask is what connection I maintained with Ranjan ... what I know. Actually I did a video with Ranjan aiyya and that was the story that circulated that Ranjan insulted a thero
during the past. 

What he said on that occasion was that some robed monks do strange things because of issues that happened in childhood. It is true that I went to Ranjan's home to ask about this. But I have no special connection with Ranjan Ramanayaka. I know nothing about voice cuts with mobile phone recordings. Though I was questioned for about three hours ... what I said was that I know nothing about Ranjan Ramanayaka. Some newspapers have reported this today in an incorrect manner. The news so conveyed is that I have revealed names of several persons who came and went from Ranjan Ramanayaka's house. I have not done anything of that sort".
