"Prisons, courts and hospitals in TV news" -- complains Wimal
A launch of clothes produced with the usage of plantain produce was held yesterday (27) under the precedence of minister Mr. Wimal Weeravansha and that was at Colombo Bandaranaika Memorial Hall premises.
This project is being put into motion by Sri Lanka textile and apparel institute in collaboration with research institute of Moratuwa university under the ministry of industries and supplies management.
Mr. Wimal Weeravansha who expressed his ideas on that occasion said that the space allocated by media for news broadcasts of this type has been limited. He further mentioned that if he was engaged in media activities, he would allocate a prominent space for news such as this.
